BioSpine 9

International Congress on Biotechnologies for Spinal Surgery
Innovation, Exchange and Visions for Spinal Medicine

Advanced Science Forum
May 20–22, 2026 | Berlin, Langenbeck–Virchow–Haus

Welcome

Dear partners and friends of spinal medicine,

when we launched the International Congress for Biotechnologies in Spinal Surgery - BioSpine - in 2002, our goal was clear: to bring the most promising biotechnologies out of the lab and into clinical use. Since then, BioSpine has grown into a dynamic, interdisciplinary community where spine surgeons, scientists, engineers and MedTech leaders come together to rethink spinal care.

In 2026, BioSpine returns to Berlin as a global platform for exchange, innovation, and collaboration. Over three days, participants will explore the latest advances in regenerative therapies, AI-supported robotics and smart implant technologies. Expect high-level symposia, rapid-fire sessions and hands-on insights that bridge research and clinical application.

Whether you are a seasoned expert or rising talent, BioSpine 2026 invites you to engage not just as a delegate but as a co-creator. Let’s shape the future of spinal medicine together.

Join us in Berlin and be part of a movement that transforms ideas into action and brings new therapies to life.

Yours sincerely,

Hans Jörg Meisel, MD, PhD
